I hate them as well. They are time-consuming to do, and as Emily pointed out, purposely unclear sometimes on what boxes you have to hit, forcing you to re-do it. Thinking about it now from your perspective, it's designed to trick the user so that AI learning can be sped up.

The sooner they get rid of this system, the better.
